Melvin R. Manship

Melvin R. Manship, 61, Milltown, died at 10:44 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2005, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Orange County, born Nov. 2, 1943, he was the son of the late Victor and Francis White Stalker.
He was a molder operator for Keller Manufacturing Co. in New Salisbury, where he worked 24 years, and a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Corydon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother,
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, the former Linda Alexander; a son, Matthew Manship of Milltown; a daughter, Michelle Atwood of Milltown; a brother, Roger Stalker of Nashville, Tenn.; two sisters, Bonnie Cox and Connie Stults, both of Paoli, and three grandchildren.
Memorial service: Saturday, Jan. 22, at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo with burial in Pilot Knob Cemetery.
