Delmar Gaither

Delmar Lee Gaither, 67, Georgetown, died Sunday morning, Jan. 2, 2005, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Breckenridge County, Ky., born Feb. 11, 1937, he was the son of the late Gentry Thomas and Alma Grace Kerr Gaither.
He retired from Zeon Chemical Co. in Louisville and was a member of Edwardsville United Methodist Church and Lanesville Heritage Committee, and was a charter member of Georgetown Township Volunteer Fire Dept.
Survivors include his wife, the former Marlene Gleitz of Georgetown; three sons, Donald, David and Danny Gaither, all of Georgetown, and five brothers, James Gaither of Crandall, Charles Gaither of Nineveh, Michael Gaither of Corydon, Gentry Gaither Jr. of Sun City West, Ariz., and Roger Gaither of Louisville.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 5, after 8 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Wednesday, Jan. 5, at 11 a.m. at Edwardsville United Methodist Church with burial in Wolfe Cemetery in Georgetown.
Officiant: The Rev. Beverly Perry.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Edwardsville United Methodist Church Debt Liquidation Fund.
