Carl E. Dean

Carl E. Dean, 75, Mauckport, died Sunday, Jan. 2, 2005, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
Born June 30, 1929, he was the son of the late Jerry and Mary Faith Dean.
He was a retired farmer and member of Otterbein United Methodist Church near Laconia.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Anna Frank.
Survivors include two sons, Tim Dean of Mauckport and Paul Dean of Paynesville, Ky.; a brother, Kelso Dean of Laconia; a sister, Ruth Dooley of New Albany, and four grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 5, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Jan. 6, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, Jan. 6, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Otterbein Cemetery.
Pallbearers: Seldon and Michael Dean, Paul and Roy Huffman, Mike Skaggs, Bill Kalb and Gary Lawrence.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Otterbein Cemetery.
