Clara A. Brandsasse, 82, Tell City, died Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2004, at Professional Care Nursing Home in Dale.
A native of Oriole, born July 16, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Alverta Goffinet Knieriem.
She was a 1939 graduate of Oil Township High School, a former employee at Royal Office Products, Guthrie, Smith and Butterfield, and attended Branchville United Methodist Church.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Davison and Pearl Harbaville, and four brothers, Lloyd, Lafe, Lawrence and Hadley Knieriem.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Clarence Brandsasse; two sons, Joseph Charles Brandsasse of Evansville and Steven Earl Brandsasse of Velpen; a daughter, Susan Eastridge of Corydon; a sister, Nellie Riddle of Cannelton; five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday, Dec. 28, at Huber Funeral Home in Tell City with burial in German Ridge Cemetery in Oriole.
Officiant: The Rev. Bill Reid.
