Rev. Raymond M. Jackson Jr.
The Rev. Raymond Martin Jackson Jr., 80, Elizabeth, died Saturday, Dec. 4, 2004.
A native of Borden, born March 22, 1924, he was the son of the late Raymond W. and Ester Martin Jackson.
He was an Army veteran of World War II, and a founding minister of Faith Assembly Church in Clarksville, where he served 50 years.
Survivors include his wife, the former Opal Faye Funk; a son, David Jackson of Elizabeth; four daughters, Ramona Barber, Arlene Marshall, Naomi Elliss and Lois Shaw, all of Elizabeth; a sister, Elda Jean Meadors of Henryville; 11 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Wednesday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m. at Faith Assembly Church with burial in Rogers Campground Cemetery in Elizabeth.
Officiants: Pastors James Allen and Bud Thompson.
