Bonita J. Hatton

Bonita Jean (Jeanie) Hatton, 59, Columbus, Ind., formerly of Milltown, died at 3 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 28, 2004, at her home.
A native of Columbus, Ohio, born Jan. 3, 1945, she was the daughter of Vivian Slane Bye of Columbus, Ind., and the late Darrell L. Bye.
She was a graduate of Vevay High School and retired from Cummins Engine Co. in 2002, after 30 years, and attended East Columbus United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Patrick and James Bryant Hatton, both of Columbus, Ind.; two brothers, Frank M. Bye of Madison and Darrell L. Bye II of Plainview, Ark., and six grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Dec. 1, from 10 a.m. to time of service at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home in Columbus, Ind.
Funeral: Wednesday, 11 a.m., at the funeral home with burial in Milltown Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Charles Aigner.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
