Wilma Chanley

Wilma Waggoner Chanley, 82, Corydon, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 23, 2004, at the home of her son, Maurice Keith Chanley of Corydon.
A native of Scotland, Ind., born July 26, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Rev. C.E. and Sarah Belle Ledgerwood Waggoner.
She was a former gift wrapper at the old Berlins Dept. Store in Corydon.
Survivors include two other sons, Harold H. Chanley Jr. of Rock Layer, Fla., and Billy Jo Chanley of Leavenworth; a daughter, Barbara Ann Askren of New Salisbury; two brothers, John Waggoner of Leavenworth and Philip Waggoner of Miami, Fla.; a sister, Jessie Bracker of Milbrae, Calif.; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Visitation: Friday, Nov. 26, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 27, after 8 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Saturday, Nov. 27, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Scotland Cemetery.
Officiants: The Rev. Ron Russell and Michael Chanley.
Pallbearers: Michael, Jason, Brett and Blake Chanley, B.J. Puckett, Jason Hayes and Richard Askren.
