Blondine Snider
Blondine Snider, 61, Crandall, died Friday, Oct. 22, 2004, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Magnolia, Ky., born Aug. 10, 1943, she was the daughter of Ike and Zora Warren Slayton of Crandall.
She was a secretary for Gary Gilstrap State Farm Insurance Agency in Georgetown, a member of Friends for Life in Louisville, and attended Unity Chapel United Methodist Church in Ramsey.
Survivors besides her parents include her husband, Larry W. Snider; two daughters, Marie Boone of Crandall and Gwen Jacobi of Palmyra; a brother, Delmar Slayton of Clarksville, and five grandchildren.
Funeral: Sunday, Oct. 24, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in Bethlehem Cemetery in Crandall. Officiants: The Rev. Jeff Reed and Chaplain Richard C. Johnson.
Organist: Judy Albin.
Pallbearers: Ryan, Taylor and Jimmy Boone, Billy Jacobi, and Jonathan and Joshua Sarles.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Cancer Care Center of New Albany or St. Jude’s Childrens’ Hospital.
