Monday: Last day to vote absentee
The last day to vote by absentee ballot for this year’s General Election is Monday.
Harrison County Circuit Clerk Carole Gaither said registered voters have until noon Monday to vote in the clerk’s office on the second floor of the courthouse in Corydon.
The clerk’s office is open for voting today (Wednesday), tomorrow and Friday during normal business hours. It will also be open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. for absentee voting.
On Tuesday, the day of the General Election, Blue River Services will be available to take people to polling places in the county free of charge. To make arrangements for pick-up, call 738-1681 or 738-7461.
Polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. election day. Persons unsure of their proper polling location may want to contact the clerk’s office (738-4289) prior to Tuesday to verify where they should vote.
