Martha Thompson

Martha Thompson, 86, New Albany, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 2004, at the Robert E. Lee Healthplex.
She was a native of Barbourville, Ky., and a former waitress at South Side Inn.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Proffitt of Corydon and Jimmy Proffitt of New Albany; three sisters, Bertha Mott of Louisville, Gladys Hembring of Crown Point and Flora Luff of Anchorage, Alaska; a stepbrother, Bradford Callebs of Barbourville; a stepsister, Elizabeth Owens of North Carolina; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral: Wedneday, Oct. 6, at 10 a.m. at Seabrook, Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home on Oak Street in New Albany.
Burial will be in Graceland Memorial Park.
