Robert L. Stepro

Robert L. Stepro, 97, Corydon, died Sunday, Sept. 26, 2004, at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
A native of Louisville, born Nov. 5, 1906, he was the son of the late John and Rena Albert Stepro.
He was a co-owner of the old Hurst-Stepro Lumber Co. and a former owner of Stepro Transfer Co. in Corydon. He was a member of Corydon Rotary Club, Sportsman’s Club, National Horsemen’s Association and Corydon United Methodist Church, and a charter member of the old Corydon Country Club.
He was preceded in death by his wife, the former Ardis Wiseman, and a son, David Stepro.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Glass of Corydon; five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorial service: Tuesday, Sept. 28, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Douglas Finney.
