Charles E. Traughber
Charles E. Traughber, 81, Corydon, died Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2004, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Irvine, Ky., he was a retired traffic manager for Allegheny Ludlum Industries, a Navy veteran, and a member of Masonic Lodge 39 F&AM and an honorary Kentucky Colonel. He was active in Boy Scouts and Tunnel Mill Scout Camp.
He was preceded in death by a son, Cpl. Stephen Traughber.
Survivors include his wife, the former Clara M. Clunie; a son, Michael E. Traughber of Corydon; a daughter, Pamela King of Louisville; three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Friday, Sept. 3, at Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home on Oak Street in New Albany with burial in SCI-Graceland Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Hospice and Palliative Care of Southern Indiana.
