Former council chair Saulman critical at Jewish

Former South Harrison Community School Corp. board member and principal and Harrison County Council Chair Earl Saulman, 79, of Corydon was in critical condition yesterday at Jewish Hospital in Louisville. His wife, Betty, said he went to Harrison County Hospital last Wednesday evening with pain due to a blocked artery. He later suffered a massive heart attack, went into cardiac arrest twice, and was stabilized and flown by STATCARE to Jewish Hospital in Louisville. He is heavily sedated and remains in intensive care. Everyone’s prayers would be appreciated, Betty said.
