Earl R. Lawton

A native of Kentucky, born Aug. 17, 1921, he was the son of the late Wilbur A. and Evelyn Crawford Lawton.
He was a former employee of Keller Manufacturing Co. in Corydon, a retired employee of the Harrison County Highway Dept., and an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include three sons, Merle W. Lawton of Louisville, Melvin L. Lawton of Mauckport and Norman R. Lawton of Corydon; four brothers, Harold Lawton of Colorado, Charlie and Howard Lawton, both of Corydon, and Dean Lawton of Laconia; three sisters, Mary Elizabeth Kumm of Corydon, Mildred Knapschaffer of California and Louise Lawton of Michigan; eight grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.
The funeral was Saturday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Central Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Merle and Brad Lawton, Virgil Satterfield, Ashley Sauerheber, Henry Brown and Mark Conrad.
