Arthur L. Eisert

A native of Floyd County, born Nov. 26, 1947, he was the son of the late Arthur J. and Vernie I. Plue Eisert.
He was a former employee of the Indiana Dept. of Transportation, a farmer, a former member of Lanesville Heritage Committee and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lanesville.
Survivors include a son, Jacob W. Eisert of Lanesville, and three sisters, Barbara Goff and Susie Stark, both of Lanesville, and Mary J. Eisert of Lafayette.
Visitation will be today (Wednesday) from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and tomorrow after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
The funeral will be tomorrow at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Randall Hiser, Glenn Schneider, Virgil Jawtak, Robert Schickel, Martin Hall and Kenneth Acton.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Floyd Memorial Foundation Joslin Center, 1850 State St., New Albany, IN 47150.
