Donnie D. House

Donnie D. (Sugar Bear) House, 53, Marengo, died suddenly Sunday, Aug. 8, 2004, at 1:32 p.m. at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Leavenworth, born Aug. 25, 1950, he was the son of the late Stanley and Evelyn Kellums House.
He was a member of Paoli Wesleyan Church and Laborers Local 795 in New Albany.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward House; three sisters, Ellen McClain, Margaret Beles and Betty Allen, and a granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, the former Shirley Froman; a son, Brian House of Marengo; two stepsons, Richard Ross Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Ronald Ross of Nicholasville, Ky.; three sisters, Loretta Allen of Louisville, Ruth Allen of Carefree and Mary Andrew of Leavenworth, and five grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Aug. 11, from 4 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 12, from 9 a.m. until time of service at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo.
Funeral: Thursday, Aug. 12, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Pilot Knob Cemetery.
Officiants:The Revs. Tony Bye and Anthony Moore. Music: Danny Jones.
Pallbearers: Billy Beles, Kenny House, Kenny House Jr., Andy Andrew, Tom Jones and Danny Totten.
