Bernard T. Adams, 89, Corydon, died Saturday, July 17, 2004, at his home.
A native of Shelby County, Ky., born March 24, 1915, he was the son of the late Bernie and Florence LaFollette Adams.
He was a member of International Brotherhood of Teamsters Local 89 in Louisville, and was retired from White Motor Co. in Louisville after 30 years.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, the former Nellie G. Fortner; two sons, James P. Adams of Corydon and Jerry T. Adams of Sellersburg; two daughters, Linda Mason of Phoenix and Sharon Best of Corydon; two sisters, Edith Tennill of New Castle, Ky., and Gladys Brumlette of Pleasureville, Ky.; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, July 19, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Officiants: The Revs. Douglas Finney and Sandy Cooper.
Organist: Judy Albin.
Pallbearers: Alan and Curt Jones, Brian, Donald, Anthony and Earl Wayne Adams, and Joe Stilger.
