Donald K. Fisher

Donald Kay Fisher, 80, Belleview, Fla., died Monday, July 12, 2004.
A native of Corydon, he was the son of the late Samuel and Cora Strause Fisher.
He served 4-1/2 years in the Navy during World War II, and was a former employee of Paramount Plywood in New Albany, Quarter Master Depot in Jeffersonville, Research and Development Lab in Natick, Mass., and George Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala.
He was a lifetime member and past master of Rising Sun Masonic Lodge 29 in Decatur, Ala., and a member of VFW Post 2950 in Corydon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by seven brothers, Edward, Victor, Charles, Joe, Walter, Raymond and Ben Fisher, and a sister, Minnie Schuppert.
Survivors include his wife of 57 years, the former Dorothy L. Wilkerson; two daughters, Donna Calendine of Palm Harbor, Fla., and Deanna Mooney of Belleview, Fla.; a brother, Samuel Paul Fisher of St. Petersburg, Fla.; a sister, Frances Jones of Ocala, Fla., and three grandchildren.
Arrangements: The National Cremation Society in Fruitland Park, Fla.
The family suggests memorial gifts to charity of choice or to hospice.
