James A. Leech

James A. (Jim) Leech, 76, Leavenworth, died Friday, July 2, 2004, at 9:55 a.m. at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Highland Park, Ill., born Nov. 26, 1927, he was the son of the late Albert and Juanita Tower Leech.
He owned and operated Blueberry Pine Farm in Michigan and operated a sawmill. He was a member of Community Presbyterian Church at Leavenworth, where he served as an elder.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, the former Peggy Carlisle; three daughters, Debbie Leech of Allegan, Mich., Dorothy Leech of Ostego, Mich., and Sally Lemley of Kalamazoo, Mich.; a sister, Annalee Schifeling of Brevard, N.C., and two grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, July 5, at Denbo Funeral Home in English.
Officiant: The Rev. Ken Flomsby.
Burial: Wednesday, July 7, at 11 a.m. at Roe Cemetery in Allegan.
