Murder suspects Pittman, Naylor face more charges

As expected, additional charges have been filed against two men in connection with last month’s double murder in Mauckport.
Hobert Alan (Albert) Pittman, 23, of Corydon and John Michael Naylor, 20, Frankton, now are charged with murdering Hobert Pittman, 59, on June 12. Hobert Pittman is Albert Pittman’s father.
The pair were charged last month with the murder of Myrtle L. Satterfield, 80, Albert Pittman’s step-grandmother, and the attempted murder of his stepmother, Linda K. Pittman, 55.
Other new charges filed last week against both men include burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, theft and auto theft. Naylor has one additional charge: assisting a criminal.
Both men, who are being held without bond, are scheduled for a pretrial hearing at 1 p.m. on Aug. 25. A jury trial was set for 9 a.m. on Sept. 28.
Naylor is being represented by attorney Stan Robison. Public defender Amie Newlon is representing Pittman.
