Blanche A. Hardesty, 103, Monticello, died Sunday, June 27, 2004, at Twin Lakes Village NH in Monticello.
A native of Corydon, born Aug. 27, 1900, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Estelle Brown Boley.
She and her late husband, Roy E. Hardesty, owned and operated The Rose in Reynolds for several years, and she was the oldest member of Monticello Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Roy E. Hardesty on April 21, 1962, and Charles L. Smith on Nov. 15, 1928; three brothers, Clarence, Frank and George Boley, and three sisters, Martha G. Heishman, Louetta Reed and Marge Moore.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Thursday, July 1, from 10 a.m. until time of service at Monticello Christian Church.
Funeral: Thursday, July 1, at noon at the church with burial July 3 in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Officiant: The Rev. Chris Dodson.
Arrangements: Miller-Roscka Funeral Home in Monticello.
