Jean Hughes Walker, 76, Greenfield, died Friday, June 11, 2004, in Greenfield.
A native of Corydon, born Jan. 28, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Lina Black Hughes.
She retired in 1991 as a payroll clerk for Hancock Memorial Hospital and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Greenfield. She was a graduate of Corydon High School and continued her education at Indiana University School of Business, and was a member of Tri Kappa Epsilon Chapter and Chi Omega Sorority.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Walker, in 2002.
Survivors include a son, Joseph W. Walker of Ellisville, Mo.; two daughters, Sally Ann Geile and Marjorie Bender, both of Greenfield, and six grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, June 14, at Pasco-Stillinger Funeral Home in Greenfield with burial in Park Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. John Paulson.
