Lucille Kochert

Lucille M. Kochert, 92, Lanesville, died Friday, May 28, 2004, at Providence Retirement Home in New Albany.
A native of Lanesville, born Nov. 30, 1911, she was the daughter of the late August and Mary Ringle Day.
She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville, St. Anne’s Society and Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband, Maurice Kochert of Lanesville; two sons, Ronald M. Kochert of Lanesville and Gene Kochert of New Albany; four daughters, Dolores Dotson and Eileen Timberlake, both of Lanesville, Diana Schmitz of Park City, Utah, and Jane Gettelfinger of Madison; a sister, Kathleen Weinman of New Albany; a brother, Everett Day of New Albany; 21 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday, June 1, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiants: Fathers Ken Garing, Harold Ripperger and Wilfred Day.
Arrangements: Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
