Patrick V. Walter

Patrick V. Walter, 58, Lanesville, died Monday, May 3, 2004, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Floyd County, born Nov. 25, 1945, he was the son of the late Herman and Edith Benson Walter.
He was a retired truck driver for Corydon Crushed Stone and a member of Pfrimmer’s Chapel United Methodist Church near Corydon.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Steve and Nick Walter, and two sisters, Patricia Walter and Aznor Stilger.
Survivors include his wife, the former Edna Abney; a son, P.J. Walter of Lanesville; a daughter, Christa Dawalt of Peoria, Ill.; three brothers, Irwin Walter of Milltown, and John and Jude Walter, both of Lanesville, and five sisters, Mary Lou Trott of Christiansburg, Va., Rose Louise Brown of Kent, Ohio, Frances Hess of Lanesville, Leola Braun of Jeffersonville and Roberta Garrett of Ramsey.
Visitation: Wednesday, May 5, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and after 8 a.m. Thursday, May 6, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Rosary service: Wednesday, May 5, at 7 p.m.
Funeral: Thursday, May 6, at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with burial in Pfrimmer’s Chapel Cemetery.
