Mullis hired as NH football coach

Jason Mullis, currently an assistant football coach and mathematics teacher at Jeffersontown (Ky.) High School, has been selected as the new varsity football coach at North Harrison.
Mullis is a graduate of Bedford-North Lawrence High School, where he played football before moving on to Franklin College. He played at Franklin for one year and transferred to Indiana State University. Injuries forced him to give up the sport, however.
Mullis graduated from ISU in 1998.
During the fall of 1998, Mullis did his student teaching at East Central High School and assisted with the football team. In 1999, he was hired by the Salem School Corporation, where he served as an assistant coach for four years (the last two years as defensive coordinator).
Mullis also did extensive work in developing the weight room and weight program.
In June of 2003, Mullis moved on to J-town, where he was again defensive coordinator.
