Frederick Pflanz

Frederick William Pflanz, 68, Corydon, died Thursday, March 11, 2004, at Green Valley Convalescent Center in New Albany.
A native of Corydon, born April 30, 1935, he was the son of the late Henry Stanley and Nellis Housefield Pflanz.
He was a carpenter, an Army veteran and a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Corydon.
Survivors include a son, Michael Pflanz of Bardstown, Ky.; two brothers, Rick and Henry Pflanz, both of Corydon; six sisters, Alice Fey of Corydon, Grace Gwynn of Fern Creek, Ky., Margaret Jacobi of Palmyra, Ida Stilger and Amy Schneider, both of Lanesville, and Ginny Garbrough of New Albany, and two grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, March 13, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Officiant: Father Louis Manna.
Music: Resurrection Choir.
Arrangements: Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Pallbearers: Nick Nye, Tony Jacobi, Mike Gwynn, Frank Fey Jr., and John and Lawrence Jr. Stilger.
