Scott S. Miller

Scott S. Miller, 88, Marengo, died Tuesday, March 9, 2004, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Huntingburg, born Jan. 16, 1916, he was the son of the late Logan and Joy Shelton Miller.
He was a former agent for Southern Railways, a co-owner and operator of Miller’s Apparel in Marengo for more than 50 years, and a store in Paoli. He was a member of Marengo United Methodist Church for more than 50 years, a Past Master of Marengo Lodge 485 F&AM and Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Miller on Jan. 16, 2001, and a sister, Deloris Miller.
Survivors include a son, Scott T. Miller of Corydon; a daughter, Sharon Miller Moffett of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; two brothers, Logan Miller of Evansville and Charles Miller of Santa Claus; two sisters, Joy Marie Woods of Princeton and Anna Elizabeth Walters of Bloomfield, five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, March 15, at Marengo Christian’s Missionary Church with burial in Marengo Cemetery.
Officiants: The Revs. Morris Larimore and Tony McCutcheon.
Arrangements: Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo.
