Charles Bischoff

Charles Asa Bischoff, 77, Milltown, died Wednesday, March 3, 2004, at 12:30 p.m. at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
A native of Crawford County, born Nov. 11, 1926, he was the son of the late Andrew and Nettie Stonecipher Bischoff.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II, a retired mechanic for AirCo Welding in Louisville, and a member of Teamster Union 89.
Survivors include his wife, the former Rita McIntosh; three sons, Charles (Bud), Jim and Owen Bischoff, all of Milltown; two daughters, Mary Mathes of Clarksville and Frances Barnes of Milltown; a brother, Howard Bischoff of Marengo; 12 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Saturday, March 6, at Brown-Newkirk Funeral Home in Milltown with burial in Shafer Ridge Cemetery. Officiant: The Rev. Philo Jones.
Pallbearers: Chris Barnes, Greg Cooms, Michael Cooms, Jamie Mathes, Pat Riggs and J.J. Sampson.
