YMCA promotes Crosier, Fisher

The YMCA of Harrison County is assembling its management team for the new building opening this July and has promoted Nathan Crosier to fitness and program director and Lisa Fisher to membership and child-care director.
As fitness and program director, Crosier will manage YMCA land-based exercise and enrichment programs, the fitness center at the new building, and youth soccer.
‘Nathan has served our YMCA since we opened the Fitness Center a year ago, and is a dedicated and talented employee,’ said Catherine Turcotte, executive director of the YMCA. ‘He has a strong commitment to continuing education, and bringing the latest in fitness and programs to Harrison County.’
Crosier has a bachelor of science degree in physical education, with concentrations in sports medicine/exercise science and a minor in health promotions. He has achieved numerous certifications including: AFAA & YMCA Fitness Instructor, Spinning Instructor, Volunteerism and the YMCA, YMCA Power of the Positive Workplace, and YMCA Group Exercise Instructor.
As membership and child-care director, Fisher will manage membership services, child watch and the Y’s day-camping program.
‘Lisa has a commitment to member service and has successfully managed our camping programs this year. She is loyal, consistently dedicated to our mission, and adept at managing diverse responsibilities,’ said Turcotte.
Fisher was part of the management team that opened the Barren County YMCA in Glasgow, Ky., in 1991. She first joined the Harrison County YMCA in 2002 and has served as program manager, starting more than 25 YMCA programs in this community. Fisher has received YMCA Certification in Membership by Design and Power of the Positive Workplace.
