John (Junior) Snyder, 68, Corydon, died Monday, Feb. 23, 2004, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
A native of Guston, Ky., born March 17, 1935, he was the son of the late John W. and Nell A. Gardner Snyder.
He was a retired livestock truck driver and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
Survivors include his companion of 32 years, Virginia Moore; a son, Johnny Snyder of Memphis; three daughters, Connie Snyder of Elizabethtown, Ky., Edna Tinius of Jeffersonville and Angela Collins of Corydon; a brother, Ronnie L. Snyder of Corydon, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Feb. 25, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Feb. 26, after 10 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, Feb. 26, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Hursttown Cemetery near Corydon. Officiant: The Rev. Rollie Collins.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
