John L. Temple

John Luke Temple, 17, Georgetown, died late Friday or early Saturday, Jan. 23 or 24, 2004, in Pekin.
A native of Evansville, born Aug. 12, 1986, he was the son of John Todd and Theresa Marie Pearson Temple of Georgetown.
He was a junior at Floyd Central High School and Prosser Vocational School, where he was taking computer classes. He attended Christ United Methodist Church in Georgetown.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, William C. and Edith I. Sutton Pearson.
Survivors besides his parents include grandparents, Howard and Marchetta Williams Temple.
Visitation: Wednesday, Jan. 28, beginning at 1 p.m. at Pekin Untied Methodist Church.
Funeral: Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. at the church with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Andy Hansen.
Arrangements: Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem.
The family suggests memorial gifts to Brandon’s House in New Albany in care of the funeral home.
