Jerry D. Sturgeon, 62, English, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004, at his home.
A native of Perry County, born April 4, 1941, he was the son of the late Dale and Dora Hall Sturgeon.
He was a retired self-employed carpenter and a member of Eckerty House of Prayer.
Survivors include his wife of 43 years, the former Addie (Tudy) Enlow; four sons, Gene Sturgeon of English, Kenny Sturgeon of Birdseye, and Brian and Stuart Sturgeon, both of Eckerty; two daughters, Betty Flamion of St. Croix and Beverly Hubert of English; two brothers, Ausbel Sturgeon of French Lick and Lee Sturgeon of Doolittle Mills; four sisters, Helen Brown of St. Croix, Mary Qualkenbush of French Lick, Opal Hammond of Leavenworth and Donna Smith of West Fork; 19 grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Funeral: Tuesday, Jan. 20, at Eckerty House of Prayer with burial in Doolittle Mills Cemetery.
Officiant: Brother Charles Collins III.
