Edith Lynch

Edith Lynch, 83, Doolittle Mills, died at 9 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, at her home.
A native of Perry County, born Dec. 20, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Rozella Sigler Underhill.
She was a homemaker, a former employee of Gossards in Huntingburg and General Electric Co. in Tell City, and a member of Doolittle Mills Pentecostal Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude F. Lynch, Aug. 9, 1999; eight brothers, Admiral, Vernal, Sigler, Dallice, Edison, Murl, Glendin and Noval Underhill; three sisters, Eithel Wright, Lilly Sigler and Ethel Atkins, and a grandson.
Survivors include a son, Clyde Lynch of Doolittle Mills; two daughters, Julia Slipher of Doolittle Mills and Joy Hubert of Palmyra; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation: Wednesday, Dec. 31, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Huber Funeral Home in Tell City.
Funeral: Wednesday, Dec. 31, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Doolittle Mills Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. William Thomas, Lynch’s great-nephew.
