Mildred C. Berkenmeyer

Mildred C. Dear Berkenmeyer, 82, Ramsey, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2003, at Harrison Health and Rehabilitation Centre in Corydon.
A native of Ramsey, born Feb. 24, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Emma M. Wetzel Dear.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Berkenmeyer Sr., and three sons, Kenneth, Robert and Melvin Berkenmeyer.
Survivors include four sons, Charles F., Lawrence (Butch), and Carl E. Jr. Berkenmeyer, all of Ramsey, and James L. Berkenmeyer of Scottsburg; two daughters, Shirley A. Knasel of Georgetown and Betty Jo Wenning of Depauw; a brother, Elmer Dear of Ramsey; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral: Tuesday, Dec. 16, at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey with burial in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in New Salisbury.
