Viola M. Crosier

Viola Mae Bye Crosier, 90, Corydon, died Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at Indian Creek Health & Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
A native of Harrison County, born Jan. 20, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Henry G. and Ada Burgess Bye.
She was employed as a beautician for 53 years, and was a member of the Hoosier Heritage Homemakers Club, the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 2950 in Corydon and Unity Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rickman Crosier; a brother, John Bye, and a sister, Fern Murr.
Survivors include a son, David Foley of Georgetown; a daughter, Anita K. Carder of Corydon; two brothers, Olaf Bye of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Burgess Bye of Corydon; two sisters, Esther Higdon of New Albany and Leora Hickman of New Salisbury; five grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday, Dec. 9, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Officiants: Father James Wilson and Johnny Bye.
Pallbearers: Melissa Haggerty, Mark Foley, Grant Rickard, Mark Fouts, Brian Higdon and Gary Brandenburg.
