Oliver Rothrock
Oliver Kintner Rothrock, 89, Depauw, died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2003, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center in Corydon.
A native of Wyandotte, he was born Dec. 30, 1913, the son of the late Samuel Lewis and Clara Etta Kintner Rothrock.
He was a farmer and a retired millwright from Local No. 1031, and was a member of Unity Chapel United Methodist Church in Ramsey.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Baden, Edward, Henry and Jonathan Rothrock.
Survivors include his wife of 64 years, the former Mary Cathryn Pate; two daughters, Lois Jean Raisor and Velda Faye Harris, both of Depauw; a son, Francis Dale Rothrock of Depauw; a sister, Mary C. Jackson of Georgetown; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Friday, Nov. 7, at Unity Chapel United Methodist Church near Ramsey with burial in Loudon’s Chapel Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Jeff Reed.
Organist: Betty Monroe.
Vocalists: Janice Thevenot and Debbie Barr.
Arrangements: Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Pallbearers: Lois and Mike Raisor, Dale and Norman Rothrock, Renee and Kyle Eckart, and Velda and Sarah Harris.
