Clarence Philpot
Clarence Ridgeway Philpot, 77, Trafalgar, formerly of Harrison County, died Saturday, Nov. 8, 2003, at his home.
A native of Shepherdsville, Ky., born March 14, 1926, he was the son of the late Bradley and Lillie House Philpot.
He was a retired sprinkler fitter, a Marine veteran of World War II and Korea, and a member of Salem United Church of Christ in New Middletown and Prince of Peace United Church of Christ in Greenwood.
Survivors include his wife, the former Helen Uesseler; three sons, Allen Philpot of Peachtree City, Ga., Gary Philpot of Columbus and Paul Philpot of Trafalgar; a daughter, Cathy Spencer of Plainfield; two sisters, Oma Turner of Jeffersonville and Lillie Mae Turner of Hendersonville, Tenn., and 11 grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, Nov. 10, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon with burial in the Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery in New Middletown. Officiant: The Rev. Ben Keckler.

Pallbearers: Craig Spencer, and Jonathan, Justin, Jacob, Noah and Matthew Philpot.
