Marjorie O. Bowsman

Marjorie O. Bowsman, 81, Salem, formerly of Hillsdale, Mich., died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003, at Washington County Memorial Hospital in Salem.
A native of Golden, Ill., born April 28, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William F. and Esther Wright Burger.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Salem where she sang in the choir, and Washington County Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, and was a past 4-H leader.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Bowsman, Nov. 25, 1990.
Survivors include four sons, Robert E. Bowsman of Corydon, and Larry J., Paul A. and Leonard E. Bowsman, all of Salem; two daughters, Mary Lou Siefker of Seymour and Barbara J. Reed of Scottsdale, Ariz.; 16 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Dawalt Funeral Home in Salem with burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Officiants: The Revs. Charles Newman and Russell Bowditch.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church.
