Hilda A. Bruce
Hilda A. Bruce, 92, Corydon, died at 11:37 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, 2003, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Freelandville, born Sept. 29, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Lewis and Eunice Brocsmith Pieper.
She was a former housemother at Indiana Central University, a former site manager for Central Council for Aging, and a member of Pfrimmer’s Chapel United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George Bruce, and a son, Robert D. Bruce.
Survivors include a daughter, Eunice Wiseman of Corydon; two sisters, Lena Tilly and Freida Mooreland, both of Freelandville; six grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Nov. 5, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 6, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Thursday, Nov. 6, at Pfrimmer’s Chapel UMC with burial in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Sandy Cooper.
Pallbearers: Brad and Chad Schroeder, Scott Rumple, Dylan Bussabarger, David and Daniel Bruce, Jordan Hubbard, Julieanne Hubbard, Lauren Hubbard, Alisha Griffee, Ashley Griffee, Brianna Griffee and Meghan Bussabarger.
