Maryann Amy Gustin, 80, Indianapolis, formerly of Harrison County, died Wednesday, Oct. 1, 2003.
Born Oct. 12, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Lafe and Elsie Cline Amy.
She graduated from New Amsterdam High School, and was a hairdresser for L.S. Ayres from 1942 to 1952, and an assistant director of housekeeping for Hilton Hotels-Airport, where she was later promoted to director of housekeeping.
She was preceded in death by four brothers, Sidney, Benjamin, Dudley and John Amy, and five sisters, Carol Conrad, Della Funk, Lilly and Dixie Amy and Peggy James.
Survivors include two sons, Mark and James Gustin; a daughter, Kyle Gustin, and seven sisters, Ambrosia Hughes, Inez Russell, Audrey Gehlbach, Alice Harvey, Corrine Pankaski, Lorraine Nichols and Jean Sieg.
Memorial service: Sunday, Oct. 12, at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Home.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Cancer Society.
