Marjorie Clark, 79, Central, died Friday morning, Oct. 3, 2003, at Beard’s Assisted Living in Laconia.
A native of Emmit, Neb., born June 8, 1924, she was the daughter of the late George and Mollie Allen Hollopeter.
She was the first certified female welder during World War II.
Survivors include a brother, John Hollis of Central; and three sisters, Donna McAleese of Elizabeth, Virginia Polen of Clarksville and Isabelle Thompson of San Diego.
Funeral: Sunday, Oct. 5, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial was private.
