Richard E. (Rick) Gaddis, 54, Central, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003, at 8:17 p.m. at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Winchester, born June 11, 1949, he was the son of Levi Gaddis of Yorktown and Doris Newton of Winchester.
He was a graduate of Winchester Community High School, and a 20-year Army veteran having served in Germany, Fort Knox and the Vietnam War.
Survivors besides his parents include his wife, the former Cheryl Trowbridge; two sons, Derek and Zachary Gaddis, both of Kentucky; three daughters, Tina Gaddis of Arizona, and Tammy and Nichole Gaddis, both of Kentucky; three stepsons, Guy Corwin and Doug Crabtree, both of Ohio, and Jessie Smith of Kentucky; a stepdaughter, Amy Corwin of Ohio; a brother, Michael Gaddis of New Castle; several grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.
Funeral: Saturday, Sept. 20, at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester with burial in Woodlawn Cemetery in Farmland.
Officiant: Pastor Tim Hall.
