Maggie Cooper

Maggie Green Cooper, 78, Georgetown, died Sunday, Sept. 21, 2003, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Alexandria, Tenn., born July 9, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Ed and Mary Christian Malone.
She was a seamstress in a shirt factory in Smithville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Cooper, two daughters, Beverly Neely and Donna Harrison, a sister, Bobbi Stacey, and two grandchildren.
Survivors include two sons, Grady Edward of Indianapolis and J.B. Ashburn, of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; three daughters, Mary Lee Peterson of Juniper, Fla., Linda Kelly of Clarksville and Retha Nell Houser of Nashville, Tenn.; a sister, Lorena Bates of Alexandria; 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Sept. 24, from 10 a.m. until time of service at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Wolfe Cemetery.
