Darlene Wooldridge, 59, Georgetown, died Saturday morning, Aug. 23, 2003, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Georgetown, born Feb. 8, 1944, she was the daughter of the late Lucian and Anna Mae Gayheart Singleton.
She was a retired school bus driver for the Greater Clark County School Corp., and attended First Community Church of God in Georgetown.
Survivors include her husband, Gerald Wooldridge; three daughters, Tammy Murphy and Tonya Calfree, both of Georgetown, and Tina Lawhorn of Jeffersonville; two brothers, George Singleton of New Albany and J.L. Singleton of Ojai, Calif.; two sisters, Ann Allen of Clarksville and Rose Love of Georgetown; and 12 grandchildren.
Funeral: Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown with burial in Wolfe Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Leland Lockhart.
Pallbearers: Gary Love, Perry Knight, Chandler Calfee, Donald Murphy, Mark Johnson, Phillip Wooldridge, Curtis Lawhorn and Corey McElwain.
Honorary pallbearers: Cameron Murphy, and Zachary and Nicholas Johnson.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Diabetes Association or Hospice of Southern Indiana.
