Charles Lee Morgan, 59, Leavenworth, died at 2 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 21, 2003, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Huntingburg, born June 2, 1944, he was the son of Arzetta Hawkins Morgan Collins of English and the late Russell Morgan.
He was a diesel mechanic for Mulzer Crushed Stone for 25 years, and attended Tower Full Gospel Church at Carefree.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Millie J. Morgan, June 13, 2003, a son, a sister and a grandson.
Survivors besides his mother include two sons, Charles Morgan Jr. of Maryland and Roger Morgan of West Fork; a daughter, Tammy Morgan of English; five stepsons, Bobby Satterfield of New Middletown, Jerry Satterfield of Japan, Paul Satterfield of Archibald Falls, Seth Seacat of Leavenworth and Lawrence Turner of Kentucky; three stepdaughters, Judy Redden of Eckerty, Darlene Schuley of Marengo and Cindy Cole of Leavenworth; his stepmother, Beatrice Morgan of Scottsburg; two brothers, Donnie and Ronnie Morgan, both of Texas; seven sisters, Faye Faulker of Dale, Patty LaHue of English, Ruby Mills of Milltown, Kim Humphreys, Virginia Lindauer and Peggy Coleman, all of Leavenworth, and Barbara Hensley of West Fork; and 27 grandchildren.
Funeral: Sunday, Aug. 24, at Dillman-Green Funeral Home in Marengo with burial in Fredonia Cemetery.
Officiant: The Rev. Doug Phillips.
Organist: Phyllis Crandall.
Pallbearers: Ron Coleman, Gural Hensley, Travis Hensley, Justin Hensley, Carter Morris, Leslie Bland and Ralph Lindauer.
