August Blumenstiel

August (Gus) Blumenstiel, 57, Georgetown, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at Floyd Memorial Hospital and Health Services in New Albany.
A native of Louisville, he was an employee of Keller Manufacturing Co. in Corydon and a former member of the Georgetown Town Board.
Survivors include three daughters, Lisa Wright of Palmyra, and Angela Satterfield and Karen Blumenstiel, both of Taylorsville, Ky.; three brothers, Jim Wilt and Robert Blumenstiel, both of Louisville, and Fred Blumenstiel of Corydon; a sister, Mary M. Long of Virginia Beach, Va.; and three grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, Aug. 27, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursday, Aug. 28, after 9 a.m. at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown.
Funeral: Thursday, Aug. 28, at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Wolfes Cemetery.
