Otho J. Hoback

Otho Junior Hoback, 72, Corydon, died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2003, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.
A native of Harrison County, born Oct. 27, 1930, he was the son of the late Otho and Ilah Mae Messer Hoback.
He was a Marine veteran of the Korean War, and retired from Brown & Williamson Co. in Louisville, where he worked as a maintenance machinist.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Goldie Cecil Hoback.
Survivors include three sons, Kenneth D., John D. and Archie D. Hoback, all of Corydon; a stepdaughter, Dawn Thompson of Vine Grove, Ky.; a sister, Mary Kathryn Pate of Central; a niece, Rene’ Dodson of Corydon, who cared for him; three grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, Aug. 18, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Burial: Blue River Chapel Cemetery.
Officiant: Joe Lees.
Pallbearers: Jim and Ed Wright, Mitch Wise, Richard Gettelfinger, Dave Hicks and John McGreevy.
