Maurice Lieber

Maurice E. (Lead Pipe) Lieber, 74, Lanesville, died at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 10, 2003, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Lanesville, born June 14, 1929, he was the son of the late Anfred and Zelma Baumgart Lieber.
He was a retired truck driver for S & T Transportation in Louisville and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Lanesville.
Survivors include three sons, Roger Lieber of Wilson, N.C., Glenn Lieber of Lanesville and Keith Lieber of Floyds Knobs; two daughters, Karen Garrett of Elizabeth and Tammy Duke of Indianapolis, and six grandchildren.
Funeral: Wednesday, Aug. 13, at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church with burial in the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Tim, Tom, Joe and Patrick Lieber, Donald Korte and Herb Stewart.
Arrangements: Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the Building on Faith Fund at St. John’s Lutheran Church.
