Mary Davis

Mary Manners Feiock Davis, 87, New Albany, died Thursday, July 31, 2003.
She was a native of Jeffersonville, born July 30, 1916. Following the death of her husband, Wilton J. Feiock in 1956, she earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisville and a master’s degree from Indiana University. She taught Spanish for 16 years at New Albany High School and was a member of Indiana Retired Teachers Association, the Fortnightly Club, Silver Street United Methodist Church and International Society of Poets.
She was preceded in death by another husband, Eldo N. Davis in 1993, and a son, Casper J. Feiock in 2002.
Survivors include two sons, Eric J. Feiock of Depauw and W. Anthony Feiock of Lake Quivira, Kan.; a sister, Trini Mayflower of Clarksville; a stepson, Dennis T. Davis of Naperville, Ill.; a stepdaughter, Phyllis Davis Neely of Floyds Knobs; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Monday, Aug. 4, at Silver Street UMC with burial in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany. Seabrook Dieckmann & Naville Funeral Home in New Albany handled the arrangements.
The family suggests memorial gifts to her church or Southern Indiana Hospice.
