William M. Hill

William M. Hill, 81, New Salisbury, died Monday, July 14, 2003, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.
A native of Fairfield, Ky., born Sept. 30, 1921, he was the son of Anna Belle Barnard Hill of Louisville and the late William Wallace Hill.
He was a retired mechanic for the old Ray’s Ford Dealership in Corydon and a member of Full Gospel Mission Church in Louisville, where he was a minister for 30 years.
Survivors besides his mother include his wife, the former Ann L. Hopper; five sons, Morgan and Randall Hill, both of Kentucky, Jerry Hill of New Salisbury, Rick Hill of Depauw and Terry Hill of Salem; five daughters, Emily Franklin of Louisville, Vickie Hill of Salem, Cindy Avis and Stacey Bolen, both of Ramsey, and Robin Duff of New Salisbury; three sisters, Ruth Marple and Cathleen Harmon, both of Louisville, and Patsy Wynn of Shepherdsville, Ky.; 28 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Wednesday, July 16, from 3 to 9 p.m. and Thursday, July 17, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Swarens Funeral Home in Ramsey.
Funeral: Thursday, July 17, at 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Woods Chapel Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Glenn Jordan.
